Summer is upon us !

What’s cooking with Les Trib’elles? Well, we are
working hard on the next Tribally Yours 2008 that is!
We can now confirm that Bellyqueen from New-York
are coming all 7 of them! They prepared a lot of new
choreographies for us and we are proud to have them.
Yes, this is not the usual tribal, but they can offer a
lot to everyone. If they were 9, they could be the
mythical muses! We are sure they will inspire you!
Also just in, Kajira is not coming alone… Seba will
be joining her! Yes, your read right, Seba from Black
Sheep Bellydance of California is also coming! Which
mean that we will have the pleasure of an authentic
Black Sheep Bellydance performance! And Unmata, well,
we are very excited to have them aboard! Lucky also since
they have been traveling around the world! They are hot!

January 19 * New Cardio Tribal class with Marthyna
Le centre de conditionnement pour la femme in Brossard is now offering a Cardio Tribal class beginning January 19th. Every saturday 11:30 to 12:30. Info : 450-676-2525

January 20 * Workshop in Granby.
Private workshop with L’ensemble folklorique Les Mariniers in Granby.

January 31 * Due date for submissions to perform at Tribally Yours 2008.
If you plan to submit to TY08, we need to receive your form by that date. A comity will then review the submissions and decide who will be part of the hafla on friday and who will part of the Gala show on Saturday

February 1 * End of the pre-sale period for Tribally Yours.
There are still spots to the VIP room and Marcel-Dulude Center, but don't wait to register. After February 1st, pricing will go up 15 %. Don't miss the chance to be part of the only tribal and fusion festival in Quebec!

February 15 * Tribally Yours' tickets sale begin
Reserve your tickets to take advantage of the presale period. Tickets will be available by February 15; you can purchase them via members of Les Trib'elles, Shuvanies, in person at the school or by mail.

We have two shows this year:

Friday Night's Hafla – only 30 tickets to see great artists "up close and personal" and discuss with them around a nice cup of mint tea. This is a very nice evening, friendly and welcoming.

Saturday Night's Gala show – Marcel-Dulude Center welcome more people to give all a chance to see an incridible show with renown dancers. Kajira Djouhmana will perform ATS "à la Black Sheep Bellydance" as well as tribal gothic to mesmerize you; Unmata perform its unique blend of tribal fusion, Bellyqueen (all 7 of them!) are happy to show you their new choreographies, created just for us; and Les Trib’elles have planned a little surprise for you all… Don't forget, we will have more artists soon!

February 21st * Fund raiser event for the MAM association in St-Bruno
Marthyna will be a part of this essential fund raiser event for the association. Info and reservation via www.mam.qc.ca or chantalt@radioactif.com

March 7, 8 and 9 * Tribally yours 2008
Do I need to say more? A whole week-end of tribal and fusion with Kajira Djouhmana (Hawai), Unmata (California), Bellyqueen (New York), Les Trib’elles (Montreal) and more.

March 15th * Marthyna in Quebec City for Isidora Bushkovski’s
Isidora is teaching a workshop, this well renown dancer is a must see! Marthyna will be attending the workshop and will perform in the Gala show. Details with Mahira at www.dansemahira.com

March 29th * Fund raiser event for Club Optimiste de St-Basile with Marthyna and the Shuvanies.
Optimiste of St-Basile is organizing a fund raiser event. Les Shuvanies will be performing new choreographies and tribal bellydance improv. You can get tickets via Gérard D’Astous at 450-441-0351.

April 23-27 2008 * Les Trib’elles will be at the International Bellydance Conference of Canada.
Les Trib’elles will be performing at REMIX2007 on Wednesday night and Dominique will perform on Main Stage. Details still to come. You can consult the IBCC website : www.bellydanceconference.com

May 31st 2008 * Marthyna’s oriental dance school’s Gala Show
Les Trib’elles, Les Shuvanies and guests will be part of the 8th edition of Marthyna’s Gala Show. Details to come, but mark your calendar! www.marthyna.com
